Ruby Tuesday: Ruby Candy

These are chocolate candies from Singapore. The first time I saw them wrapped, I readily thought of Ruby Tuesday! :D

A nut is covered with black chocolate. So when you take a bite, you get to taste first the bitter chocolate then when you bite on the nut, that's when you taste sweet.

My kids didn't like it, but we adults did! :)

Weekend Snapshot: For Me Blouse

I met with my BFFs in Robinson's Galleria yesterday for a movie, And I Love You So, and for catching up over almondigas, pancakes, and waffles. :)

I reached Galleria 30 minutes before the appointed time, so I decided to check out some shops, most of which were on sale. Of course, I bought something! God this cute blouse from For Me at 50% off! Cool isn't it?

It's pink, cotton, and eyelet style.

Victoria Secret's Beauty Rush

This is my first Victoria Secret lip gloss, and I'm loving it already. I use their body spray and sometimes lotion, though.

This Victoria Secret Beauty Rush lip gloss is cool to the lips, and doesn't flake or it doesn't form that white line in the middle of your lips. It has fruity flavors, too, and is fragrant. It is perhaps the juiciest lip gloss I've tried.

The Wonders of ChapStick

A month or two ago, my lips were dry. And I noticed some dry rough patches on the upper parts of my lips. I really didn't know the cause.

A bit worried, I decided to self-medicate first. I tried some lip softening products, but they didn't help at all.

One day, I decided to try out the popular and affordable lip gloss, ChapStick. I've tried the strawberry flavor before, and I didn't like it. So now, I decided to try out this spearmint flavor.

Voila! My dry lips have improved! Now, they're back to being supple and even reddish. ;)

ChapStick is easy to find. They're in drugstores (Mercury Drug) and departments (SM or Landmark) all over the Metro.

Ruby Tuesday: Red Park

This red pavement is the pavement that is surrounding Jose Rizal's, our National Hero, statue in Luneta Park, Manila.

Now don't ask me why I didn't include in the photo Jose Rizal, because I don't know either. I was looking for a photo for RT today, and I stumbled on this. :)

The view is cool, too, isn't it? A combination of red, greens, and gray...
