I Want to Learn Color Blocking

In the recent months, I've been wanting to stay away from being monochromatic, if this is the term used to describe matching colors. That is matching the colors of the  bag and belt, or bag and shoes, or belt and shoes, and so on.

I want to be able to wear different colors, yet look harmonious together. Take a look at what I mean:

Cream blouse with navy trim, yellow pleated skirt, black satchel, dalmatian print booties

Multi-colored graphic print shirt, mustard wide-legged trousers, burnt orange saddle purse, blue velvet platform sandals

Peach peasant-style blouse, peach and yellow pleated uneven hem skirt, purple box purse, wooden brick-red peeptoe platforms
